Rain is one of the most recognisable moods in anime backgrounds: streaks of falling water, rings spreading on puddles, small splashes where drops hit the ground. These seven free brushes from Attki paint each of those pieces.
Download them from Attki's Gumroad page; Brusher does not host the file.
The seven brushes

- A ripple brush — rings spreading on a puddle
- Splash brushes — drops hitting the ground
- Drops 5 — single drops

A rainy scene in four layers
Darken and desaturate the scene, add falling rain on a layer set to Add or Screen, place ripples on every puddle, then put a few blurry drops in the foreground. Rain should be thin and light — less is more.
