Eight brushes are enough to draw a full anime illustration, and this free set by the artist Attki is built exactly around that: one brush per step, from the first sketch to the halftone finish.
It is downloaded from Attki's Gumroad page — Brusher does not host it.
One brush per step
- Sketch Brush — rough lines.
- Line — the clean line art.
- Basic Color — flat colour fills.
- Soft Blend and Soft — gentle blending and airbrush shading.
- Hair and Hair (soft) — strands and soft hair masses.
- Halftone — a dot texture for a manga-style finish.

A simple anime workflow with it
Sketch, then ink with Line on a new layer. Fill each part with Basic Color on its own layer, add cel shadows on a clipping layer above, and use the soft brushes only for blush and light. Paint hair last with the two hair brushes, then a touch of Halftone in the shadows.
For more anime-specific stamps — eyes, hair shapes, chibi bases — see our anime Procreate brushes.
